All Bloomberg terminal real-time exchange data requests are approved directly by Joe Magaro, with Deanna approving in Joe's absence.

To request real-time data for a particular exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. From your terminal, lookup the particular security for which you wish to receive real-time data and enter function EXC <GO>.
  2. Check Add for all Level 1 exchanges listed and then click Request Access. Note that you may need to scroll if there are multiple exchanges required to view real-time data (ex. Canadian equities).

  1. You will be prompted to re-enter your terminal credentials, then brought to the below screen. Click Request Access again.

  1. Enter a note explaining why you need access to the exchange and submit the request.

  1. Notify Joe and cc Deanna letting us know that you have entered a new request.

Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email from Bloomberg. Real-time data for the exchange will be available the next time you relaunch your terminal.
